ASHA Centre

London 2001

ASHA is a charity dedicated to celebrating all faiths and cultures within society and its centre needed to express the coherence of its diverse programme. Our design proposed a single roof curving upwards at the edges to draw attention to the inside, over a series of distinct forms. These spaces have different forms and cater for different functions like a gallery, museum and theatre and are equally suitable to any single faith or combination of them. Overall, the composition suggests the compatibility of various elements within a single unifying structure.
