Ignacio Tirado

Senior Architect

Ignacio studied at Granada University in his native Spain. After moving to Ireland in 2012, he joined Urban Agency in Dublin. During the eight months he spent there, he worked on various projects of different scales: house extensions and renovations, refurbishment of a listed Georgian building, a social housing scheme and a temporary pavilion for the Fringe Festival. He also collaborated on several competitions and bids

Ignacio joined Patel Taylor in March 2013 and has worked on several competitions and bid submissions for residential schemes. He worked as a team member on the Lombard Road project from competition to planning stage. On this project, Ignacio has been able to apply his keen sense of innovation in working on the design of an iconic 28 storey mixed use tower by the river front in Battersea as well as creating a new public realm. 

Ignacio qualified and joined the ARB in December 2013. Currently he is in charge of several feasibility studies for new projects in London including another riverside tower and new mixed-use schemes in Wandsworth.
