Part II Architectural Assistants
Patel Taylor is looking for proactive, talented recent Part II Architectural Assistants to expand our team in London working on a growing portfolio of residential projects.
The role:
You could be working in a team, or across multiple teams, gaining a range of experience in residential projects, from initial feasibility concepts through to developed planning and tender information.
Applicants must demonstrate:
• Experience of working with Revit and / or MicroStation in practice
• Experience of 3D modelling in Rhino and V-Ray rendering
• Good design awareness through a portfolio of projects
• Clarity and confidence in communication; in writing, drawing, on screen and in person
• Good graphical presentation skills and experience of the Adobe software suite
• Relevant work permits and must already be living in the UK at the time of application
The ideal candidate will also have:
• Self-motivation, proactivity, initiative, and team-working experience
• Understanding of residential projects and standards in the UK
• The ability to work under pressure and be flexible as part of multiple teams
Architects / Project Architects
Patel Taylor is looking for proactive and talented Architects with a range of experience to expand our team in London working on a growing portfolio of residential projects.
The roles:
Depending on your ability, experience and interests, you could be working in a team, or leading a small group, on one of a range of residential projects, from initial feasibility concepts through to developed planning and tender information.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
• 1-7 years post-qualification UK experience
• Thorough understanding of residential projects, regulations and standards in the UK
• Understanding of residential planning policy
• Experience and skill working with Revit and / or MicroStation in practice
• A high level of design awareness demonstrated through a portfolio of projects
• Clarity and confidence in communication; in writing, drawing, on screen and in person
• Relevant work permits and must already be living in the UK at the time of application
Depending on the role, the ideal candidate will also have:
• Self-motivation, proactivity, initiative, and team-working experience
• Strong presentation skills using the Adobe software suite
• Knowledge of 3D modelling in Rhino and V-Ray rendering
• The ability to work with accuracy, a high attention to detail and quality
• Experience leading a small team and checking the work of others
• Experience and technical knowledge to RIBA Stages 4/5
Patel Taylor is looking for a proactive, talented, recently qualified and urban-focused Landscape Architect to expand our team in London working on a growing portfolio of landscape-led urban projects.
The role:
You will work on landscape across a variety of projects under the guidance of a Senior Landscape Architect, designing public realm and shared spaces which work in harmony with the urban design and architectural proposals.
Applicants must demonstrate:
• Excellent landscape design awareness through a portfolio of projects
• A good understanding of public realm design and access regulations
• A working technical knowledge of soft planting and trees
• Experience in landscape masterplanning and urban design
• Excellent graphical presentation skills and experience of the Adobe software suite
• Experience of working with Revit and / or MicroStation
• Clarity and confidence in communication; in writing, drawing, on screen and in person
• Relevant work permits and must already be living in the UK at the time of application
The ideal candidate will also have:
• Self-motivation, proactivity, initiative, and team-working experience
• The ability to work under pressure and be flexible as part of multiple teams
• Strong interest in the field and a desire to keep learning
• Experience of working in Revit with data-rich modelling
• Experience of preparing presentations and reports for UK planning applications
